June allowed our team to attend the annual Metafest held at the downtown convention center in Lafayette. This was the team's second year in attendance and once again, it was a wonderful experience for everyone. As we continue to prepare and plan for our 2026 Cajun Country ParaCon, the team has been holding classes to raise funds. Most recently, the team hosted a "Dinner with Spirits" at Bambinos Burgers in New Iberia, LA. Guests investigated the restaurant and the New Iberia Chamber of Commerce building with the team. Big thanks to the owners and staff of Bambinos as well as the city of New Iberia for the use of the Chamber of Commerce building. This year, the event was held at the historic Vermilionville, located in Lafayette, LA. Vendors and guests from all over the country came to support our event. We cannot say enough kindness shown by Johni and Vermilionville. We doubled our attendance from last year's event and are so excited to see our little ParaCon continue to grow! A huge thank you to our special guests, speakers, and celebrities that helped in making our event a success. We would love to thank all of the attendees for the support as we continue to expand our event. Several team members were able to travel recently and got to experience some phenomenal events! Members from Acadiana Chapter went to beautiful Sedona to participate in Enchanted Convergence with Jodi Dehn and Sarah Lemos. In late April, several members from Acadiana and East were invited to participate in the 1st annual Boos on the Battleship event hosted by Katie McVay, on the historic USS North Carolina. Our team continues to be humbled and thankful to join others events in our paranormal family. The sweltering heat of the summer is coming, but that is not stopping us!
